Privacy Policy

This site collects the least data it can, and only in order to answer your enquiry. There’s no advertising, no selling of data to third parties, and no external analytics service following your visit.

What the contact form collects

When you fill in the form at /en/contact or on the home page, what’s collected is what you write there: name, email, wedding date, place, and — if you choose to fill them in — phone, how you found me, and your message. The submission is also stored with its date and time.

Only the data needed to reply to you is asked for. There are no hidden fields and no additional collection without your knowledge.

What it’s used for

The form data is used solely to answer your enquiry — telling you whether the date is free, discussing prices, and arranging a further conversation if we go ahead. It’s used for nothing else: it doesn’t go into marketing lists, it isn’t cross-referenced with other sources, and it generates no newsletters or automated messages.

How long it’s kept

Form submissions are kept in this site’s database for as long as is needed to deal with your enquiry and, if you go on to book the service, for as long as tax and contractual obligations require. If the enquiry doesn’t lead to a booking, the data is deleted within 24 months of the last exchange of messages at the latest.

Who it’s shared with

Nobody. The form data is not sold, transferred or shared with third parties.

The form is processed by this site’s own server (the Fluent Forms plugin), with nothing sent to external marketing or advertising services. This site also uses no third-party services for typefaces or for visitor statistics — the fonts (Fraunces and Inter) are hosted on the server itself, and there’s no traffic analytics tool running here. So no requests to external domains such as Google Fonts or Google Analytics happen when you visit this site.

How to ask for your data to be deleted

At any point you can ask to see, correct or delete the data you gave through the form. Write to geral@arantesfilms.pt asking for deletion and quoting the email address you used on the form. We reply and confirm the deletion within 30 days.

If, even after writing to us, you feel your request wasn’t handled as it should have been, you can complain to the Portuguese data protection authority (Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados, CNPD) or, for consumer matters in general, through the Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico. The Livro de Reclamações is Portugal’s official complaints book: every business serving consumers has to provide it, and a complaint filed there goes straight to the regulator.
